MFAC was proud to team up with State Street Corp for the event titled “The State Street 5K Challenge”. The event raised $12,000 highlighted by sponsorships from top firms such as State Street Corp, ADP, Merrill Lynch, Computershare, Franklin Templeton Investments, SunGard and PFPC. MFAC Board Members Jim Keenan from State Street Corp and Cindi Boudreau of Computershare kicked off the race at an early 7:00 am! The event included 36 participants who enjoyed a walk/run around the pristine JW Marriot Hotel property and concluded at the luxurious poolside of the JW with a breakfast gathering. Highlights of the event included Don Alden winning the race and Mary Koppes winning an iPod nano as the leading fundraiser.
