On Thursday, March 19th, 2009, nominees will be honored and winners will be announced and awarded 'Oscar-Style' at a dinner and awards ceremony at historic Cipriani Wall Street in New York City - once home to the New York Merchants' Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange and the US Customs House.

This year's event will again celebrate the Rising Stars of Mutual Funds, up-and-coming, talented young professionals who are poised to be the future leaders of the industry. Nominated by their managers, mentors and peers and selected by the editors of Institutional Investor News following careful review of industry submissions, Stars represent the various professional areas of the industry, are 40 years of age or under, have demonstrated consistency in their career, maintain industry expertise and are active participants in industry groups and initiatives.
