Frank Strauss co–founded Mutual Funds Against Cancer (MFAC) with the late Steve Katzin in 1995. In 2002, Frank was awarded the Jimmy Fund’s prestigious ‘Extra Mile’ award in recognition of MFAC’s contribution to the battle against cancer.
Mr. Strauss is a principal of the Beacon Consulting Group. Beacon is a Boston based firm specializing in providing operations strategy and advisory consulting services to the mutual fund and financial services industries. Prior to joining Beacon in 2004, Frank held the positions of CFO & Treasurer of The CGM Funds for 12 years. Prior to joining CGM, Frank held the positions of Vice President of Fund Accounting at Freedom Capital, Asst. Vice President at The Boston Company and Fund Manager at State Street Bank. Frank holds an MBA from Boston College and a BS from Boston University.
Frank grew up in Quincy, MA where his mother Sandra, whose battle with cancer was the genesis for MFAC, still resides. He now resides in Hingham with his wife Judy, daughter Nicole, and son Justin. An avid golfer, he is an active member of Black Rock Country Club in Hingham where he holds the record for longest hole–in–one at 202 yards.
Responsible for business development and investor relations for Ceres Partners. Most recently, Dan served as EVP, Managing Director of Global Business Development with eSeclending, LLC in Boston since 2003. He was responsible for leading all aspects of sales, marketing, and corporate communications for this securities lending services firm globally. Dan was also with State Street Corporation, Chase Manhattan, and The Boston Company serving in senior business development roles in global investment services from 1992 to 2003. Dan began his career with Xerox Corporation in 1983. Dan graduated from Bentley College with a B.S. in marketing management; Suffolk University Law School with a J.D. and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. He also attended Oxford University for legal studies and worked for John Patton, MP, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, House of Commons. Dan resides in Cohasset, Massachusetts with his wife Christine and two girls; Jillian and Madison.
Stan’s marketing communications experience spans 26 years across a broad spectrum of products, services and media. His clients have ranged from consumer beverages to the services industries. Over the years, his roles have included creative director, strategic brand supervisor and agency principle. His talents have redefined and launched scores of brands; his commitment has always extended to non-profit organizations and causes.
Stan first developed a financial services focus at K&E and Bozell where he worked on Bank of New England, Merrill Lynch and Mass Mutual. Forming his own firm in 1989, financial services branding and marketing communications became central to DB&R’s business. Fidelity Investments was one of DB&R’s charter clients, soon followed by Warburg Pincus Funds, Weiss, Peck & Greer, Reich & Tang, Berger Funds and PNC. He introduced the Warburg Pincus brand into the retail mutual funds market, during which time its assets under management grew from $800 million to $14 billion when it was acquired by Credit Suisse Asset Management.
His strategic and creative talents have guided clients such as Sodexho, GE Financial, Chase, Citizens Funds, Pioneer Investments, SPARX Japan Funds, CCBT Financial Companies and Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund. Under his guidance, clients from financial services to health care and consumer products have transformed and built their brands.
Over the years, the realms of corporate responsibility, non-profits and cause- related marketing have taken on a growing presence in his work. His involvements include Sodexho, Sodexho Foundation, STOP Hunger, FoodChain, Plainwell Tissue and Dana Farber, The Boston Living Center, Greater Boston Assn. for Retarded Citizens and Hearts & Noses Hospital Clown Troupe.

Cindi Boudreau is an Executive Vice President of Sales for Alamo Direct and is responsible for introducing their services to new mutual fund and variable annuity relationships as well as maintaining existing relationships with Alamo clients. Cindi has fourteen years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Alamo she was Vice President of Sales for the Proxy Direct Product for First Data Investor Services Co. (now PFPC) and spent six years at BFDS as the Director of Client Relations for the Stock Transfer Division. Cindi graduated from Babson College with a BSBA. She also serves on the Board of Directors at Thorny Lea Golf Club.
Don DeBolt is Major Account Manager–Content Management Solutions for RR Donnelley, focusing on sales of various shareholder communication applications and services. Prior to joining RR Donnelley, he was a Vice President for Northern Trust Company and other has held a variety of positions in the mutual fund industry during his career, primarily involving various solutions to fund accounting and fund administration related services. Don resides in Mansfield with his wife Pamela and 2 children Morgan and Michael. He is also involved with numerous youth sports organizations in Mansfield. Don holds a BS in Finance from Central Michigan University.
The Blizzard of ’78 was a year away, and John Havlicek was still playing basketball for the Celtics when John Dennis embarked on the Boston portion of his broadcasting career.
John graduated magne cum laude from Kent State University in 1974 after earning a degree in telecommunications and journalism. As a finalist that year in ABC’s nationwide search for a college-aged sideline announcer for NCAA football, Dennis became the youngest Sports Director in the history of NBC affiliates at WDAF in Kansas City at age 22. He spent 3 years in KC before the bright lights of Boston called.
During his 3 decades at Channel 7 (1977-1997), Dennis wore a variety of name tags including weekend sports anchor, feature reporter, and Sports Director. In his 21 years at WNAC-WHDH, John worked for 3 different ownership groups and 17 different news directors. He won 8 Emmy awards for broadcast excellence.
Dennis has covered a wide variety of events spanning the globe, including the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer Norway, Americas Cup Yacht Racing in Newport, World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, NBA Championships, U.S. Open Golf, and all of Marvelous Marvin Hagler’s middleweight title fights.
In October of 1997, John resigned from Channel 7 to co-host the Dennis & Callahan Show with Gerry Callahan on Sports Radio 850, WEEI. The Dennis & Callahan Show originally aired in the 10 to noon timeslot. In September of 1999 the Dennis & Callahan Show, after two successful years on WEEI, was promoted to air during morning drive from 6 AM–10 AM. Dennis devotes afternoons to his business venture called MediaWise. MediaWise is a consulting firm that assists high-profile sports figures to deal with the glare of the media and maximizing their endorsement opportunities.
Brian W. Donovan is a Director of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. Brian focuses on Strategic Relationship Management in the Global Financial Services Industry practice of Deloitte Services LP. Brian began his career with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York after graduating from Boston College in 1988. Brian joined Deloitte in 2001 and focuses on ensuring that clients are aware of the Deloitte Firms’ broad solution sets and capabilities. Brian has more than 19 years of experience in professional services and consulting to the financial services industry. Brian lives in Hingham, MA with his wife Julie and his four children. He is very active in Hingham Youth Sports.
Gary Enos, Executive Vice President, heads State Street's Offshore and Canadian Investment Services and Alternative Investment Services. Mr. Enos also overseas Risk Management and Credit Services, which focuses on risk accountability and liquidity lending for Investor Services globally.
He has held many positions in the Asset Servicing Business at State Street including Managing Director of Europe.
Mr. Enos joined State Street in 1985 from KPMG Peat Marwick where he specialized in financial services including banks, insurance brokerage and mutual fund companies. His professional board memberships include State Street Cayman Trust Co., State Street Trustees Ltd., State Street Ireland, Ltd. and IFDS GP. He also serves as chairman and Executive Director of State Street Bank Luxembourg.
Mr. Enos holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Providence College.
In the community, Mr. Enos is President of the Bill Blackwell Foundation, a Director for Mutual Funds Against Cancer and a member for the Taunton area Boys and Girls Clubs Board of Directors.
Gary resides in Taunton, Massachusetts with his wife Peggy and 2 children, Jaclyn, 12 and Brett, 10.
John Griffin is an Assurance/Business Advisory Services (ABAS) partner, resident in the Boston office, in the Investment Management industry practice. He has twenty-five years experience specializing in the investment management industry. John is one of the firm’s subject matter specialists who leads our practice that advises our investment management clients on governance matters, including the 15(c) contract renewal process. He has also been involved in investment advisor risk and controls related projects (including SAS 70s) and due diligence reviews in connection with acquisitions of investment advisors. John has provided audit and other assurance and business advisory services to a number of global financial services clients. John received his B.S. in accounting from Bentley College. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
William Jackson is the President of Computershare Fund Services, a provider of Proxy and Compliance Mailing Services to the Mutual Fund Industry. Bill joined the predecessor company, Alamo Direct, in 2000 from PFPC, where he had held various management positions over 13 years, including responsibility for the development and ongoing management of the firms Proxy Advantage product. Bill has extensive experience managing large complex proxy campaigns for the top mutual fund companies in the industry. During Bill's 28-year career he has worked in management positions at Boston Financial Data Services, Mellon Financial, The Boston Company, and First Data Corp. (the predecessor of PFPC).
Bill graduated with a BA in Administrative Science from Colby College and an MBA from Northeastern University.
Bill and his wife Mary Lou are active volunteers and fund raisers for My Brothers Keeper in Brockton, MA and St. Mary's Women and Children’s Center in Dorchester, MA. Bill and Mary Lou live in Norfolk MA with their three children, Ben, Josh, and Sarah.

Drew previously served as President and founder of LINKsource, providing corporations and “C” Suite executives with successful recruiting and executive coaching since 1989. During his tenure, Drew worked with several Business and Financial clients including Fidelity, T.Rowe Price as well as Sports Marketing clients including National Hockey League, National Football League, Reebok, and The Tiger Woods Foundation.
Prior to founding LINKsource, Drew was the National Distribution Sales Manager for the U.S. and Canada at NEC Electronics Inc., where he managed the P&L (25 million) for 52 distributor locations and account responsible for sales revenue at IBM exceeding 5 million dollars.
Drew’s education includes; Tabor Academy in Marion Massachusetts and Loyola College, Montreal, Canada. While at Loyola, he was the first American to achieve varsity status on the Loyola hockey team.

Jim Keenan is a Vice President and Department Head in the U.S. Mutual Fund Services Division of State Street Bank & Trust. His department provides custody, fund accounting and daily valuation services for clients with approximately $600 billion of assets. Prior to joining State Street, Jim worked at PFPC, Inc. where he held the position of Vice President and Director, Fund Accounting and Administration and at Investors Bank & Trust where he was a Senior Client Manager and Vice President.
Jim holds an MBA from Babson College, a BSBA from Boston College and is a Chartered Bank Auditor. He is a member of the National Investment Company Service Association's (NICSA) East Coast Committee.
Mike Kerrigan is a founder and principal of Beacon Consulting Group, specializing in middle and back office investment management operations and technology integration. He has over sixteen years of experience in the financial services industry, including, investment management operations, product development, systems development and integration, and sales. Prior to founding Beacon, Mr. Kerrigan was with PricewaterhouseCoopers Investment Management consulting practice. Additionally, Mr. Kerrigan has spent several years with the Boston Company and First Data Corporation. He has a BS from Providence College in Business Management and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
Mr. Kerrigan is involved in a number of charitable and non-profit organizations. Currently, he is President of the Business Associates Club, a Boston based organization founded in 1923, focused on bringing young business people together to learn from nationally known executives, educators, and politicians. Mr. Kerrigan is also on the board of directors of Expect Miracles, a leading advocate in the fight against cancer within the mutual fund and financial services industries.
Stephen has held various sales, account management and operational positions at Chase, Brown Brothers Harriman and State Street Bank.
Stephen holds a B.S. in Economics from Boston University. Stephen resides in Braintree, MA. with his wife Linda and sons James and John.
Chris Lacey is currently Vice President of Business Development. Chris has been with PNC Global (formally PFPC Inc.) for over 18 years and has been on the Board of Directors of Mutual Funds Against Cancer for over 10 years.
Rich has over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry in mutual fund administration, accounting, and custody businesses as well as service and processing operations for high net worth, retirement and brokerage.
Rich spent 17 years at Fidelity Investments in senior leadership roles across multiple businesses in both Boston and Dallas, Texas. Before joining Fidelity, Rich was the Director of Mutual Fund Administration at State Street Research and Management and an Assistant Vice President in the Mutual Fund Division at State Street Bank and Trust.
Rich has his MBA from Suffolk University, Boston as well as a BBA, Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Doug Miller, Executive Vice President, manages State Street's Global Relationship Management Group and is the Head of Investor Services Sales for North America.
Prior to these roles, Doug was part of the Deutsche Bank integration team, responsible for client retention and relationship management for the transition. He was formerly head of U.S. sales and marketing for Investor Services.
Doug joined State Street in December 1995 as senior vice president of strategic marketing responsible for product and program development, relationship management and sales strategy for State Street's Mutual Funds Division. He assumed his current responsibilities in early 2005.
Prior to joining State Street, Doug served in similar sales and marketing capacities for the U.S. Trust Company of New York and Chase Manhattan Bank. He also held several sales management positions with IBM Corporation in Rochester, New York, and Boston.
Doug is a graduate of Duke University with a B.A. degree in Psychology and German.
As a managing director at Citi, Jim is responsible for business development within Citi’s Securities and Fund Services North American region. Jim came to Citi in August 2007, via the firm’s acquisition of BISYS where he served as Fund Services EVP for global marketing, client services, and product development. Prior to joining BISYS, Jim was managing director for PFPC’s global fund services unit. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry having managed various aspects of mutual fund operations for such reputable organizations as Boston Financial Data Services, Pioneer Group, G.T. Global and Wells Fargo Bank. Jim holds a series 7 securities license with the NASD and a BA degree from St. Mary’s College. In addition to serving on the Boards of Directors for Mutual Funds Against Cancer and the Boston Adult Literacy Fund, Jim is an active member and co-founder of the West Coast Committee of the National Investment Company Service Association (NICSA) and committee member of the Investment Company Institute. Jim grew up in Quincy, MA and now resides in Acton with his wife Judy, daughters Kristen and Kaitlyn, and son Tommy.
Lisa Onorato is a Managing Director and client executive in the Global Client Management group of JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services, a leading provider of custody and securities services. In this role, she is responsible for the global coordination, strategic planning and business development for the securities services needs of clients in the investment management industry.
Ms. Onorato previously served as a business development executive for JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services’ North America Financial Institutions Sales Group focusing on JPMorgan Fund Services, which provides services to investment management and mutual fund companies.
Prior to joining JPMorgan, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and Accenture as a consultant to the investment management industry assisting with operating strategy development and business process improvement efforts. She began her career in financial services at Brown Brothers Harriman handling relationship management, bank network management and business development.
Ms. Onorato holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master’s in International Relations from Tufts University Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
Shaun is an audit partner in the Boston location of the Ernst & Young Financial Service Office. He has over 21 years of financial services and asset management experience.
Shaun focuses all of his time serving clients in the asset management industry, and has served hedge funds, private equity funds, mutual funds, investment advisors and transfer agents. He coordinates all aspects of E&Y's client services and takes a proactive role in addressing financial reporting and accounting matters and various client operational issues.
Shaun is also the Strategic Growth Markets (SGM) Leader for the E&Y Financial Service Office (FSO). In this role, Shaun is responsible for helping the FSO focus on continuing to establish and develop relationships with early stage, fast growing companies in the asset management industry.
Shaun attended Boston College and received his BS in Accounting from the Carroll School of Management. He is a member of the AICPA and the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s. He is married and has two children.

Nancy Rowe is in her 11th year with Jimmy Fund Golf. As Director, she provides the overall vision of the program, oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations, and speaks on behalf of the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to groups throughout New England. Rowe's involvement with the Jimmy Fund began in 1995, when she became a volunteer on the Patrick Faolan McDonough Memorial Classic, a tournament to honor the memory of her nephew Patrick. During her tenure at the Golf Program, Rowe has been pleased to be a part of the team that has grown the annual contribution from $1.6 million to this year's goal of $5.8 million. For 15 years prior to joining the Jimmy Fund she was the head women's basketball coach at Southern New Hampshire University (formerly New Hampshire College). Rowe, a resident of Exeter, N.H., has a master's degree in Athletic Administration from Michigan State University.
Peggy Schooley, President of Evergreen Investments Service Company in Boston, MA, has over 20 years experience in the mutual fund industry.
Peggy joined Evergreen in 2005 from Pioneer Investments, where she was President and CEO with responsibility for the Pioneer Investment Management Shareholder Services, Inc. organization. Prior to that, she was a senior client services officer with PFPC, Inc., with responsibility for the relationship management of up to 15 fund groups. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president of the Financial Institutions Division and a senior vice president of Client Relations and Communications at Putnam Investments. Peggy has managed multiple areas for the American Funds Service Company and the American Funds Distributor; positions that include retirement plans internal wholesalers/marketing and operations. Ms. Schooley began her career in mutual fund operations at USAA Investment Management Company in San Antonio, Texas. She has also served for many years on the ICI Operations, Broker/Dealer, and Transfer Agent Committees and various NICSA committees. In 2005, she was elected Vice-Chairman of NICSA.
Peggy attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is Series 7, 24, and 63 licensed.
Bruce R. Speca is Executive Vice President of John Hancock’s Investment Management Services (IMS) group. Under Mr. Speca's leadership, IMS oversees the Manulife/John Hancock investment platforms in the U.S., Canada, and Asia, including Japan. These platforms serve the company's various business units, including mutual funds, retirement plans, college savings, variable annuities and variable life insurance. The portfolios that IMS oversees are managed by over 60 of the largest asset management firms in the world and total nearly $200 billion in assets.
In addition to platform oversight, Mr. Speca leads IMS in supervising the continuing evolution of John Hancock's Lifestyle and Lifecycle Portfolios. With over $55 billion in assets, John Hancock is one of the industry's leading providers of lifestyle and lifecycle solutions.
Mr. Speca's responsibilities also include guiding the investment product development and marketing strategies for IMS. This includes overseeing research of economic and investment market trends, leading the development of new investment products, and overseeing the group's public relations efforts.
Prior to joining John Hancock, Mr. Speca was responsible for product development and market research, marketing promotion, public relations, and advertising in his role as Senior Managing Director for Pioneer Investment Management. Previously, he held positions as president of a mutual fund start-up and President and CEO of the New England Funds (now Natixis Funds), where he worked for over 15 years.
Mr. Speca received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BS, Magna cum laude in Marketing from Boston College.
Ken Starr is a Senior Director and head of Mutual Fund Services for Interactive Data Corporation, a leading global provider of financial market information. Ken is responsible for the development, distribution, and sales of the company’s mutual fund products and services, which are primarily securities pricing and evaluation information. He joined the firm in June 2001. Ken has more than sixteen years of experience in financial services at such leading firms as Investors Bank and Trust Company, The Bank of Boston and Wells Fargo Bank. Prior to joining FT Interactive Data he served as a Director for Investors Bank and Trust Company.
In December of 2005, Ken was diagnosed with cancer. After undergoing surgery at Mass General Hospital to remove an enlarged lymph node in his neck, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Ken was successfully treated with chemotherapy at Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and was declared in remission August 2006. Ken continues as a patient of DFCI for his post-chemotherapy examinations and scans.
Ken served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Reserves, achieving the rank of Major. He holds an MBA from Northeastern University, as well as a BS from Norwich University. Ken is also a member of the National Investment Company Services Association’s (NICSA) Fund Administration and Custody Committee.
Ken grew up in Braintree, MA and now resides in Boston with his wife Andrea.

Eileen Storz-Salino is a vice president with Eaton Vance Management. Eileen’s primary role is to provide Regulatory oversight for Eaton Vance mutual fund operations.
Ms. Storz-Salino has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, working in the investment banking, private equity and brokerage business arms of Tucker Anthony and Moseley Hallgarten, Estabrook and Weeden, Inc. Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Eileen held a similar role at Evergreen Investments. Previous to Evergreen, she was a senior director, vice president at PFPC in both the Transfer Agency client services division as well as overseeing the origination of their third party marketing services division. She also worked at Putnam Investments, where she held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Transfer Agency.
She earned her MBA from Simmons Graduate School of Management and a BA from Cornell College. She holds a Series 7 and 63 securities license with the NASD. Ms. Storz-Salino is also involved in a number of industry associations, including the NICSA Regulatory and Compliance Committee.
Paul Tillotson is Vice President in charge of Client Information Services and Accounting at Fiduciary Trust Company, where he has worked since 1998. Prior to joining Fiduciary, Mr. Tillotson was a Vice President at Mellon Bank. From 1982 – 1998 at The Boston Company / Mellon, Paul worked in Private Asset Management, Mutual Fund Servicing, and the Endowment and Institutional Trust business units. He has been an elected Needham Town Meeting Member since 2001, and he has been on the MFAC Board of Directors since 2002.
Paul and his family are active in volunteering and Fund Raising for Medical Research and health related charities such as MFAC, and The Mothers Programmes which funds AIDS prevention Clinics throughout Africa.
Paul grew up in Syracuse N.Y. and now resides in Needham, MA, with his wife Leslie and sons Benjamin (14) and Sam (12).
Lynette Turner is a senior vice president and managing director for PNC Global. She currently oversees client service relationships and project management in investor services and advanced output solutions. Ms. Turner joined PNC Global (formerly PFPC Inc., then First Data Investor Services Group) in 1998. Ms. Turner has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her prior experience includes 11 years at DST Systems and DST International where she most recently was national sales executive. While at DST, she held various positions of increasing responsibility within the transfer agent, fund accounting and portfolio systems lines of business. Ms. Turner received a masters of business administration from Rockhurst College and a bachelor of science from Northwest Missouri State University. Ms. Turner is also involved in a number of industry associations, including the NICSA Annual Conference Committee and NICSA East Coast Committee, formerly serving as co-chair for three years.
Kevin Welby, founder of Titan Custom Clothing, has been on the Board of Directors of Mutual Funds Against Cancer for over 10 years. Kevin is an avid golfer and a longstanding member of the Walpole Country Club and currently resides in Needham, MA.
Rheeta joined MFS in 2005 from PFPC Inc., where she was a Senior Vice President responsible for the Product Development and Project Management organizations on behalf of the Transfer Agency Division. Prior to that, she was a Senior Vice President with the BISYS organization responsible for sales/marketing support and product development. A large part of Rheeta’s career was spent with First Data Inc. where she held several positions within the Transfer Agency Division exiting as a Senior Vice President over the Product Development team. She has also served on the NICSA annual conference committee for a number of years and in 2007 she became co-chair of the committee. Rheeta attended the University of Massachusetts, Boston and Boston University where she received her certification in Project Management.
